Biography of Hoyt Barber

Hoyt BarberHoyt Barber, 64, has been an international financial consultant for over thirty years, and is a widely recognized authority on tax havens, offshore banking and investments, offshore asset protection and estate planning.

With his latest release, Offshore Money, 2014, an international thriller, Barber has authored twelve published books since 1981. He recently completed a screenplay adaptation of the novel, with future production updates to be announced.

Several of his offshore-related personal finance books include Freedom Without Borders, 2011, published by ABC-CLIO, Santa Barbara, CA; Secrets of Swiss Banking, 2008, and Tax Havens Today, 2007, both published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., Hoboken, NJ, and Tax Havens, 1992, published by McGraw-Hill, New York, NY, which enjoyed nine printings over more than ten years. His first international thriller, From Hell to Havana, was released in 2007, and a third novel in his offshore trilogy is planned.

Barber has also been an entrepreneur since 1971, and over the course of his business life, has launched and acquired ventures of all kinds, and has run small public companies.
